Production Expansion in Sroubarna Kyjov

(26.4.2007) In the second quarter of 2008 Šroubárna Kyjov is going to modernize and expand its production of bearing rings forgings by hot forging, using 100Cr6 steel with dimensions from 36 to 72 mm for the automotive industry. Sroubarna is buying a brand-new and custom-made  machinery by Japanese Sakamura. It is a modern and high-efficiency automatic forging machine operating up to 140 pcs / min. The machine is complemented with a plant for speroidizing annealing of rings operating 500 kg / hour. This machine will enable to productively manufacture axially symmetrical parts, such as shells, nuts and similar metal forgings up to weight 0.68 kg / piece.
